today i tried something all together new
something that i have wanted to try for about 4 years, but I've never had it in me to actually do it
today, i ate durian

..... what is a durian, you might ask. well then i shall tell you.. that's what id say if you asked me what a durian is
so here i go:
a durian is a yellow spiky evil looking fruit. it has menace in its heart and evil creepy talons of justice!
its innards, well they look like several lobes of pale cream colored cow liver
AND durian has the reputation as being the most foul smelling fruit in the world.
many hotels and asian airlines have apparently banned the eating of durian in close quarters with other people

AND i ate it!
it tastes like sweet vanilla onions and garlic
and it isn't like: "ooh that's a pleasing sweet vanilla flavor... but what's that in the background"
its like "... why does this taste like onions?"
all together it was a fun and pleasing experience
and i did have a sizeable amount of the stuff, so i really cant say that i didn't like it, though im not sure id do it again.
